OCCU Foundation

Helping our neighbors live well, learn more and thrive

Mission statement

Rooted in the OCCU vision, Enrich Lives, and its brand pillars of Member Service, Value and Community Involvement, the OCCU Foundation is uniquely positioned to harness resources to help strengthen the overall health and well-being of the communities we serve.

OCCU Foundation was started by a group of Oregon Community Credit Union leaders who were determined to make a meaningful and positive impact in our communities.

With funding from OCCU, individuals, families and businesses, OCCUF launched in 2018. The combined resources allow us to address the educational and health needs of our neighbors and support the advancement of our communities. We mobilize philanthropic resources to advance quality of life and increase access to education. We are stewards for our community.

Since its start, OCCUF has donated over $1 million in charitable gifts.

Living

Well-being

We work with community partners to enrich lives and enhance the well-being of our neighbors through health and community initiatives.

Learning

Education

We support lifelong learning, increased access to higher education and reducing student-loan debt. We hope to create a new generation of engaged, educated and prepared Oregonians.

Thriving

Community

We strategically invest in organizations and projects that innovate, build and sustain the long-term creativity and vitality of our footprint.

Our vision is to build and support a community where neighbors and neighborhoods live well, learn more and thrive.

As a leader in philanthropy, OCCUF works with donors, nonprofits and academia to create a lasting impact for the neighbors and neighborhoods of our region. We strategically invest in initiatives and organizations that enhance and accelerate the well-being of Oregonians.

OCCUF partners with organizations like Children's Miracle Network to support the long-term health and well-being of our community.
