Leadership Team

The leadership team of Oregon Community Credit Union is comprised of individuals with expansive expertise in the financial industry, all working together to carry out the vision and mission of the organization.


Mandy Jones

Chief Executive Officer

Mandy has more than 30 years of experience in the credit union industry. Prior to joining Oregon Community, Mandy spent 22 years at Patelco Credit Union in San Francisco, California, where she was Vice President of Human Resources, Vice President of Operations and Senior Vice President of Operations. She is a recipient of numerous awards, including being twice named Executive of the Year by the Willamette Chapter of the Northwest Credit Union Association. She was also recognized in 2011 as one of the 25 Women of Influence by the Portland Business Journal. Mandy is immediate past president of the Board of Directors for United Way of Lane County and a member of the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce Board. She also co-chairs Western Oregon’s division of Credit Unions for Kids benefiting Children’s Miracle Network. Mandy is a graduate of Oregon State University.

Ron Neumann

Executive Vice President

In addition to budget and finance, Ron leads the Information Technology, Business Intelligence and Enterprise Risk and Compliance, Human Resources, and Training teams. From 2000 through 2010, Ron was President of Neumann Management Group, Inc., (NMG) a consulting firm specializing in business solutions to public and private clients in the Northwest. He is co-founder and former board member of the Information Technology Process Institute (ITPI), a not-for-profit information technology organization specializing in research, benchmarking and prescriptive guidance. Ron has more than 20 years of business development and senior management experience in a variety of industries. Ron also has international business experience; has traveled throughout Europe, Asia, and North America; and speaks French and German. Ron received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Jerry Liudahl

Chief Credit Officer

Jerry is responsible for all consumer, indirect, student and real estate lending programs, as well as for loan strategy and policy, underwriting, collections, loan auditing, and automated credit systems. In addition, he supervises investment and insurance services, product development and process improvement. Jerry has been with Oregon Community for 24 years and has been involved in the credit and lending industry for 35 years. Over his career, he has won several national awards for his development, growth and management work in consumer lending. He is a regular speaker to national and local groups on a variety of credit, bankruptcy and collection issues. Jerry currently serves on the Advisory Board of CU Direct and has served on the boards of the local Boy Scouts Council, Consumer Credit Counseling and Lane Credit Professionals. Jerry has also worked on the governmental affairs committee of the Oregon Credit Union Association. Jerry is an alumnus of Oregon State University and Willamette University.

Deborah Mersino

Chief Marketing Officer

Deborah oversees all aspects of marketing and strategic communications, including brand management, e-commerce, traditional and digital marketing, social media, product research, design and development, and community relations, as well as growth initiatives for the credit union. Deborah came to Oregon Community with 17-plus years of marketing communications experience. She holds a B.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Most recently, she served as Chief Marketing Officer for an organization dedicated to serving education leaders and influencing public policy regarding the effective use of technology to improve education. Deborah currently serves on the Strategic Market Share Task Force for the Northwest Credit Union Association. Prior to moving to Oregon, Deborah was heavily involved with educational causes in Colorado, including advocating for gifted learners.

Darrell Stark

Chief Retail Officer

Darrell leads retail operations at Oregon Community Credit Union. This includes the branch network, call center operations and virtual branch, which includes Internet and mobile banking and remote delivery channels. He is from Austin, Texas, and has over 30 years experience in financial services, including over 25 years experience in leadership positions such as Branch Management, Regional Operation Management and Retail Sales Management. He worked with University Federal Credit Union in Austin for 19 years, and his skills in the development of teams and sales initiatives have benefited Oregon Community Credit Union since his hiring in 2008. During his tenure with Oregon Community, the organization has received three national sales and service awards (CUNA Lending Council, CUNA Training Council and CUNA Operations/Sales and Service Council). Darrell is involved in working with the Special Olympics program and has a B.A. in Business from Concordia University in Austin.

Greg Schumacher

Chief Administration Officer

Greg leads many of Oregon Community Credit Union’s administration functions including finance; accounting; business intelligence; continuous process improvement and quality assurance; enterprise governance, risk, and compliance; and loss prevention, facilities, and a host of back office support functions. Greg has been with Oregon Community since 2013. He has held leadership positions in corporate risk management and regulatory compliance throughout his 27-year career in the financial services industry. Greg holds a juris doctorate degree from Whittier College School of Law in California, is a licensed attorney and member of the Oregon State Bar, and acts as Oregon Community’s legal counsel with respect to regulatory compliance. In addition to his law degree, Greg has a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from California State University at Long Beach. He also has served as a college-level undergraduate and graduate Business, Law, Accounting, and Finance instructor and course developer.
